Acadia Physical Therapy is looking to hire a part time Exercise Therapist/ Physiotherapy Assistant. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, energetic, and looking for long term employment in a great office environment. You must be a team player and be able to work a variety of shifts/hours including the possibility of weekends.
 
Under the supervision of a physiotherapist, your duties will include developing and monitoring exercise programs for a variety of patients and injuries.  You will also maintain records of those exercise programs and write reports as required. You will help with the application and removal of electrotherapeutic modalities. Your responsibilities will also include maintenance and cleaning of the exercise equipment, as well as minor housekeeping and administration duties.
 
We require you to have a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology or Physical Education (or equivalent). Foreign trained physiotherapy graduates who are awaiting credentialing are welcome to apply. This position requires excellent written and oral communication, and a good knowledge of computer and word processing programs.  The starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.
